MACHINE HEAD: Live DVD To Be Edited By 'Imperium' Director
February 28, 2005MACHINE HEAD drummer Dave McClain has posted the following message on the group's web site:
"We just got some rough footage of the DVD that was shot at the Brixton Academy [in London] in December. The footage came out great thanks to the fine people at Roax films, and will be edited by none other than Mike Sloat ('Imperium', 'Days Turn Blue To Grey')! No title as of yet since 'Dave Plays Brixton' got rejected by the other guys! Anyway, we're gonna be putting a snippet of it up on the site pretty soon, and I'll give you a hint about what song it is... as Robb says, 'We're gonna go waaayyy back to an album called 'Burn My Eyeeeesss'! This song is called ___!'"
As previously reported, MACHINE HEAD will be embarking on a monster North American headlining tour this May in support of their current release, "Through the Ashes of Empires", as well as their upcoming live DVD. The month-long "States Turn Blue To Gray" tour will feature fellow Roadrunner Records artists DEVILDRIVER, Century Media recording artists THE HAUNTED and Trustkill's IT DIES TODAY. Scheduled to set sail the first week of May, immediately following MACHINE HEAD's stint on a Midwest portion of the LAMB OF GOD tour, the "States Turn Blue To Gray" tour will continue into the first week of June, hitting major markets throughout the United States and Canada. Specifics for all dates will be posted at MachineHead1.com as they become available.
